About Anywhere AI

Anywhere AI helps high-growth AI and software startups hire engineers. We work primarily with venture-backed companies in the US across software engineering, AI/ML, research, infrastructure, and other technical roles. We also build our own software for sourcing and outreach, which our recruiting team uses every day. We're looking for a Technical Sourcer in Pune or Mumbai who can help us find engineers that are difficult to reach through traditional searches.

What You'll Do

You'll work across multiple searches at a time, each with a different technical profile and hiring bar. A big part of the job is learning what makes someone genuinely strong for a particular company rather than simply matching keywords on a resume.
You'll be responsible for:

• Finding software engineers, AI/ML talent, researchers, and other technical candidates

• Building searches across LinkedIn, GitHub, company networks, technical communities, events, and other sources

• Researching engineering teams, startups, open-source projects, and technical backgrounds to find candidates others might miss

• Writing thoughtful, personalized outreach to candidates

• Working closely with our recruiting team to understand each client's hiring bar and refine searches based on feedback

• Managing candidates and sourcing activity in our ATS

• Tracking outreach and sourcing performance to understand which approaches are working

• Developing a strong understanding of the US startup and AI ecosystem

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 1-5 years of sourcing or software engineering experience

• Experience sourcing software talent or a strong understanding of software engineering roles and technical backgrounds

• Strong LinkedIn sourcing and research skills

• Experience hiring for startups or working at a recruiting agency is preferred

• Strong written English and candidate communication

• Comfortable managing several searches and priorities at the same time

• Able to work independently and figure out new ways to find candidates when the obvious searches aren't working

  
  

You'll get exposure to a wide range of AI and software companies, technical roles, and engineering teams. Because we're a small team, you'll also have the opportunity to influence how we source, how we use our internal tools, and how our recruiting process develops as we grow.
